FUEL YOUR CAR THE PROPER WAY

Did you know that, that last extra pump of gasoline increases the vapors that are released by your tank? Making sure that you stop pumping as soon as the car is full will ensure no extra vapors are released.

AVOID AIR CONDITIONING 

Of course, turning on the A/C can be unavoidable in extreme heat, but reducing how often you turn it on can go a long way.

DRIVE MORE EFFICIENTLY 

Accelerating quickly or aggressively actually increases the amount of fuel being used to keep the engine going. It’s also important to avoid just sitting in your car with your engine running. Contrary to popular belief, most cars do not require you to “warm them up” before driving. 

MAINTAIN YOUR TIRE PRESSURE

If your tires aren’t properly filled, it reduces gas mileage and emits more pollutants into the air.

CONSIDER DIFFERENT eco-friendly FORMS OF TRANSPORTATION

If you can avoid driving, why not? Walking, biking or even carpooling are great options.
